I was revising the Mathematics category of my blog and fixing broken links when I discovered that Vi Hart—the maker of amazing and entertaining mathematics videos—had put up a video about St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, on the occasion of his first (as a saint) feast day last month. (That was July 4th.)
The video touches on Frassati’s life, the specific things Vi likes about him, first/second/third class relics (is there a secret fourth class?), the beatification and canonization process culminating in his being canonized last summer, and quite a bit of other things. It’s wholly positive and joyful and I recommend it!
