The big boys are at Grandma and Grandpa's, so we had a Girl Day Plus A Boy Baby.
First, the Children's Museum, where I plunked the 6-m-o in a pond:
Followed by that standby just up the street, the celebrated Mickey's Diner:
I think Mickey's has the best baked beans I've ever had. Lots of black pepper or something.
Welcome to my side of town Erin! My work location is 4 blocks from Mickey’s and I’ve been here 8 years and I still haven’t made it to Mickey’s for lunch. Your post has re-inspired me to get over there (for future reference, there is a fantastic Thai restaurant across the street from Mickey’s).

I have eaten at Ruam Mit Thai — it is indeed very good! (I just thought my daughter seemed to be in the mood for french fries that morning…)
