Blogging has been low as I try to finish my planning for my fall academic schedule. Lots of spreadsheets open at once. Lots of DVDs for the kids. I already have the school plan done, and the children's chore plan, and the swimming lessons and things like that, all out. I still have to knit it all into one big uber-schedule.

Don’t know if you caught my earlier comment…but we are in the midst from going to a packaged curriculum to crafting our own plan.
It’s daunting because there are just so many options, and so much information.
I think we are falling somewhere into a melding of Charlotte Mason/Classical/sort of unschooling…sort of not unschooling…or something like that.
I am sure this will get easier once we’ve gone through it a couple of times, but man, first time out is a real challenge.
One thing it does make me realize is how badly jipped I got with regards to my crummy public education.
