One hour in the coffee shop.

Mark has the kids at the park.  Can I get all my excess email deleted in time to blog?

Sixteenouncedarkroastnoroomforcream.  Check.

UPDATE.  I got a little bit more than an hour, but I spent most of it buying school supplies for next year.  The Rainbow Resource Center catalog (a.k.a. "the dangerous catalog") came a couple of weeks ago.  I’ve been toting it around for a few days dog-earing pages.  I already had most of the stuff I *needed,* but there are always a few extras you don’t think of until you get a chance to page through an entire catalog of STUFF.

RRC is great.  Its only drawback is that it lacks Catholic materials.  A few manage to slip through, but not many.

  1. I haven’t heard of Rainbow Resource. I get Timberdoodle and Catholic Heritage Curricula. I’m also somehow on the Veritas Press mailing list, and I use their catalog for reading list ideas, but I don’t order from them because they’re very anti-
    Catholic.
Where do you get your Catholic resources? Any other favorite catalogs?

  2. Most of my Catholic resources come directly from the publisher or from CHC. I’ve never heard of Timberdoodle.
I also like Montessori n Such. Especially for “practical life” things — kitchen utensils, tools, etc. sized for little hands.
