We were wondering how cold we could let our beer get, outside, before risking exploded cans and/or bottles.
Google to the rescue!
Here to report that if you type in "what temperature" into Google, the third pop-up autofill on the list is "what temperature does beer freeze."
Sweet.
Right after "what temperature does water boil" and "what temperature to cook a turkey."
Hmmm, just tried it here in the UK – and it came up with: 1) what temperature does diesel freeze 2)what temperature should a fridge be 3)what temperature is a fever
And I’m guessing that beer doesn’t even feature in the top 10 because they drink it WARM here. blech
Oh, and petrol and diesel freezing temperatures constitute three of the top 10 so that must be quite the worry here. hmmm.
Is this an exercise in cultural anthropology?

I’m guessing that Brits don’t need to ask where water boils because it is easier to remember in Celsius.
Americans are apparently obsessed with fear of undercooked poultry as turkey and chicken doneness made up 4 or 5 of the top 10 here.
Diesel fuel is less popular here. Certainly less popular than beer or turkey.
